What time should I arrive at the venue?

Please arrive at 5:00PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30PM

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is Cocktail Attire. We do encourage western vibes! Please make sure to check the weather so you can dress appropriately for the temperature.​​​​​​Texas Spring weather can vary!

Are kids welcome?

We love your kiddos, but only those specifically invited are welcomed to the festivities. 

What are the transportation options?

To the Venue:

We will have a party bus that will transport the Bridal Party from the JW Marriott to the venue. The bus will do a second trip for anyone who wants, from the JW Marriott at 4:30PM - There is limited availability, about 38 people for the bus. Anyone who does not ride the bus, we will provide an uber voucher of $15 to subsidize the ride to the venue. Information for the voucher will be on the Itinerary sheet provided in your welcome bag. If you are not attending the Welcome Party to receive a bag, feel free to reach out to Becky or Josh prior to wedding day to get a code. The code will only work with your dropoff as Barr Mansion. The venue is about a 20-30 minute drive from the hotel blocks. 

Returning:

The Party Bus will take 38 people from the Venue to the JW Marriott at the end of the party. We will have two Fetii Spinter Vans, which can hold 12-14 people that will provide rides to the JW Marriott for the afterparty or those staying at the hotel! If you do not take the Bus or Fetii's, there will be another $15 uber voucher for your ride from Barr Mansion to your desired destination. 

*We have a limited amount of codes - please make sure to group up. Please only add the voucher if you are planning to Uber and will be the one ordering it! You can take a photo of the information to have in case uber is a backup option for you.

**There will be two different voucher codes, one to the venue. One from the venue. If you plan to travel both ways via Uber, make sure to add each code. 

Will there be parking available?

The Venue has plenty of free parking should you choose to drive.

What’s the weather forecast?

Hopefully beautiful! But Texas Spring can have a wide variety. Please check the weather report leading up to the weekend. Do expect that the mornings and evenings could be chilly while the afternoon could be warm and toasty! 

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Weather pending, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside while dinner and dancing will be inside! There is a covered ceremony option incase of bad weather.

Is there an After Party?

The After Party will be hosted at the JW Marriott Lobby Bar around 11:30pm. We hope to see many of you there!

How much dancing is too much dancing?

Well maybe don’t dance and eat, but otherwise we hope to see you on the dance floor the whole time! Just don’t forget to stretch and hydrate!

Will Gibbs save me a dance?

Gibbs promised to not out dance us on our wedding day, so he will politely decline. 

What if I forget something?

You’ll be fine if you just remember the Alamo.
